New Year = New Beginnings!

How is your life changing for 2007?

Are you already thinking of what you want to do?

Are you looking to find that special person?

Whatever your goal or goals may be, the important thing is that you set realistic goals and don’t let anyone else discourage you.

Here are 5 tips to remember to keep you on track for the New Year:

  1. Set long term and short-term goals- The short term goals will help you stay motivated.  Monthly goals can help you stay on track towards your final goal.
  2. Believe it – It is true that the more you visualize yourself accomplishing your goal, the easier it will be to overcome obstacles or setbacks.
  3. Positive people- I often talk about being around people that are encouraging because it does make a difference.  You want people to lift your spirits and keep you feeling positive about your future plans.
  4. Intuition- Trust your intuition as you get closer and closer to your goal.  Listen to that inner voice to direct you on decisions.  If it feels right, then have faith that it is right.
  5. Pray about Gods plan for your life and for the goals you have set for yourself.

Goals are important.  The New Year encourages many people to reevaluate their lives.  It’s good to have goals because it keeps you motivated and excited about each day.  Goals give you direction and hope.

If you have had a tough year in life and relationships, start believing good things will come your way this year.  Start believing that you do have a purpose.  Find out what that purpose is and start setting goals in the New Year.

On the "Dr. Nina Radio show" on 100.7FM, I talked about the New Year and New Beginnings in life and relationships.  Dr. Rob was a guest on the show and we shared his big goal for 2007.  You can listen to the past show online at www.lovingyouministries.org very soon!
